Candidates preparing for Confirmation should understand their increasing obligation to be of service to all of God’s people. Opportunities for service will be offered as the candidate engages in works of charity and justice.
Candidates must accurately maintain a service activity log to complete their community service requirement, and must be signed by each event organizer. We do not count service hours; instead, four projects are required under three categories: Family, Parish and Global Service. If a student is involved regularly in parish ministry, only two projects in three categories are required.
